The central pharmacy with flagship store in Karlsruhe's Kaiserstraße

Since December 2023, the Zentral-Apotheke pharmacy has been located at Kaiserstrasse 122 on a total of three floors. With a floor for selected cosmetics brands, a skin analysis area, training and conference rooms, as well as a bright and modern sales area on the first floor, the store shows that the new address is more than just a pharmacy. 

Wooden elements, digital advertising panels, movable cabinet modules and a wide range of medicines and cosmetic brands. The first floor of the Zentral-Apotheke, owned and managed by pharmacist Henrik Rohde, has already been completely redesigned: "Our aim with the new store was to create a feel-good atmosphere that makes visitors forget that they are in a pharmacy," reports Michael Doll, assistant to owner Henrik Rohde. 

Focus on personal advice, AI-optimized warehouse and round-the-clock collection from the central pharmacy 

 "Customer advice is our main focus. It is important to us that every customer receives the best possible advice," explains Doll. There are a total of five advice desks on the first floor, as well as a telephone advice service on site. "We will also be offering digital advice in the near future, and we have already set aside space for this," reveals Doll. In addition to prompt delivery, the pharmacy's AI-optimized warehouse will ensure that as much of the product range as possible is in stock in future. 

The service is complemented by delivery by cargo bike within Karlsruhe or round-the-clock collection from a collection machine.

What distinguishes the new store from the old Zentral-Apotheke store in Kaiserstrasse is the large area dedicated to skin care. "We have a skin analysis device so that we can offer our customers individual advice on skin care and treatment directly," says Doll. Well-known cosmetics brands are on site, such as

represented.

Lectures and training courses on skin care are also held regularly in the new branch in Kaiserstrasse.

Medication analysis, blood glucose measurement and advice on first-aid kits in Karlsruhe

"We also produce customer-specific medicines and formulations in our laboratory, usually within an hour," adds Doll.

Separate rooms on the first and second floors of the central pharmacy are used for privacy and individual advice, including medication analysis, blood pressure measurement, blood sugar measurement and the fitting of compression stockings.
