  • The regular opening hours of shops in Karlsruhe city center vary, but most shops are usually open Monday to Saturday between 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. . Some shops, especially smaller stores or specialty shops, may have different opening hours, while larger department stores and shopping centers such as the Ettlinger Tor or the Postgalerie often take advantage of the full opening hours. 

    On Sundays when stores are open , stores are generally open between 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. .

  • Karlsruhe city center is easily accessible by tram. The main stops are the underground stops "Marktplatz" and "Europaplatz", from which the shopping streets are quickly and easily accessible. You can also use the P&R spaces, some of which are free of charge, e.g. at Karlsruhe Central Station or at Durlach station, and travel to the city center comfortably by train.
