Pumpkin season in Karlsruhe - delicious dishes, delicacies and decoration ideas

Julia Kalmbach, owner of VOM FASSis ready for the fall with her new store on Karlsruhe's Marktplatz, which opened in August this year: "You can do an incredible amount with pumpkin. Whether as pesto, oil or for nibbling - pumpkin is very versatile in delicatessen. My personal tip: pumpkin seed oil on vanilla ice cream," she reveals.

At the Café Drei&Zwanzig the vegan chocolate pumpkin cake has a large fan base, according to owner Naëmi Klawitter: "The cake is already eagerly awaited in summer. We use our homemade pumpkin puree for it," says the owner. "We also have a pumpkin spice latte with homemade syrup," she adds.

Also Heller's Tea Bar near the market square spoils all pumpkin fans with a matcha variant with pumpkin spice - if that doesn't whet your appetite for fall!
