Wok on Fire - new on Karlsruhe's market square

It was a long wait for many fans. But on November 8, 2025, the time had finally come: Wok on Fire opened its branch at Kaiserstraße 82 in the former Hirmer premises near Karlsruhe's market square, where Asian street food, delicious sushi combinations and a special atmosphere await the people of Karlsruhe.

Soft lighting, small bamboo huts, green plants - when you enter the newly opened Wok on Fire at Kaiserstraße 82, you immediately feel like you're on vacation. Here, Asian cuisine meets a feel-good ambience that invites you to escape everyday life for a moment. Wok on Fire in Karlsruhe, which many people already know from Pforzheim, was created with great attention to detail.

Orders are placed at the counter and brought to the table. There is a large selection of Asian dishes, such as:

• Massam Curry
• Thai red curry
• Broccoli chicken
• Pad Kha Prao

As a side dish, you can choose between normal rice, fried rice or fried noodles. And for those who can't decide from the large selection, we have a very special tip: for a small surcharge of one euro, it is also possible to create a combo - i.e. two small portions of two different dishes. No longer an insider tip, but very well known at Wok on Fire is the Pad Thai, a Thai pan-fried dish consisting of rice noodles, eggs and mung beans, with a choice of chicken or tofu.

The side orders at Wok on Fire are also impressive: From spring rolls, tempura shrimps and dumplings, crispy corn and edamame to seaweed salad and kimchi, you can choose from the finest side dishes that will transport you to the tasty world of Asian cuisine.

In addition to delicious Thai stir-fries, Wok on Fire also offers a fine selection of sushi variations: As fried sushi or rolls, with salmon, tuna, prawns or tofu and flambéed on request.
