There’s plenty for kids to discover at Christmas Town 2026, too: in addition to the St. Stephan’s Kids’ Land —with a miniature train, fairy-tale huts, and stage performances—they can watch the flying Santa , take a ride on the giant Ferris wheel , or take a ride on the Stadtwerke Karlsruhe WINTERZEIT ice rink.
There are also many events for children as part of the Christmas cultural program. The program will be posted here gradually, so it’s worth checking back!

Experience the flying Santa Claus at the Christkindlesmarkt! Every day at 17:00 and 19:30, he takes off into the air above the market square and makes children's eyes light up.
