Beautifully decorated for the season, the small store has an atmosphere where everyone can feel comfortable and shop with dignity.
Cheap to free clothes & toys in Karlsruhe
"Nimm's Mit" is a project of the Karlsruhe Child Protection Association. The project was launched thanks to donations and voluntary help. "We want to make it possible for everyone to get clothes, shoes or toys here. Everyone is very welcome here," explains the social worker. As it is important to the initiators that the clothes are treated with respect, a small price list has been drawn up. Items of clothing cost between 50 cents and a maximum of €5. "But nobody has to be ashamed if they don't have any money or can't give anything. The most important thing is access to clean clothes and toys for children," says Leibold. At "Nimm's Mit" there are also free
- Underwear,
- Pyjamas,
- Socks,
- Gloves,
- and tights.
Nimm's Mit" is supported time and again by companies such as dm or IKEA. "IKEA donated almost all of the furniture and also brought bags of stuffed animals to the opening," says Sarah Leibold.
