The Passagehof is situated near to the Hirschhof. The courtyard comprises a large part of the fan-shaped section between Akademiestraße and Waldstraße. The Kaiserpassage leads directly through it to Kaiserstraße. Thanks to a wide range of gastronomic offerings, from Asian cuisine to Mexican fieriness, every hunger is satisfied here, no matter how big. You will also find several clothing stores, unique specialist stores and a large stationery store in the Passagehof. And if you want to enjoy an "after-shopping cocktail", you don't even have to leave the inner courtyard.

In addition to Marktplatz and Kaiserstraße, Europaplatz is a key location in Karlsruhe’s city centre. Situated in front of the Postgalerie shopping centre, it is a vibrant and much-frequented square and marks the beginning of the Kaiserstraße shopping street.

Ludwigsplatz is primarily characterised by its wide selection of bars and restaurants and its “La dolce Vita” atmosphere. This is where the music is played, which you will notice if you pass by on a warm summer evening. Situated right on the cosy Erbprinzenstraße, you can enjoy the last rays of sunshine here after a long day of shopping.

As Baden’s longest shopping street, Kaiserstraße is renowned all over Karlsruhe and is adored by young and old alike. A vibrant mixture of renowned labels and independent shops give the focal point of the fan-shaped city its unique charm.

You can experience the special charm of Karlsruhe’s fan-shaped streets particularly well on Waldstraße. You cannot simply walk past countless shops and restaurants lining the street from the Palace up to Sophienstraße without at least taking a look at the new product range.
