Citymarketing Karlsruhe
As the city marketing division of KME Karlsruhe Marketing and Event GmbH we deal with the marketing of Karlsruhe's city center. The focus here is on measures that support the function of the city center as the most important center for retail, gastronomy and services in Karlsruhe.
Specifically, we organize major events such as the "Festival of the Senses" and the "Karlsruhe City Festival" which serve as a framework for open Sundays. We design and implement marketing campaigns or supervise measures for construction site marketing during the ongoing Redevelopment of Kaiserstrasse.
Another focus is on online communication and in particular the maintenance of this website (www.karlsruhe-erleben.de) in cooperation with KTG Karlsruhe Tourismus GmbH. Since 2018, all local information on the topics of shopping, tourism, events, gastronomy, nightlife, etc. has been bundled here and thus complements the city's municipal online offering (www.karlsruhe.de).
As a city marketing organization, we also work closely with the City Initiative Karlsruhe (CIK) and the Karlsruhe city administration, primarily with the Office for Urban Development, the Civil Engineering Office and the Economic Development Department. Urban development projects ("City Action Plan"), to combat vacancies and to attract new businesses (portal "LeAn") and neighborhood development (funding project "City Transformation") are the focus here.
The aim of all these measures is to make a significant and sustainable contribution to the positive perception of Karlsruhe's city center in order to make the city more attractive and vibrant in the long term together with all partners and stakeholders.
