In the city marketing division of KME Karlsruhe Marketing und Event GmbH , we are responsible for marketing Karlsruhe's city center. Our focus is on measures that support the city center's function as the most important hub for retail, restaurants, and services in Karlsruhe.

Specifically, we organize major events such as the "Festival of the Senses" and the "Karlsruhe City Festival" , which serve as a framework for holding Sunday shopping events. We also design and implement marketing campaigns and supervise construction site marketing during the ongoing redesign of Kaiserstrasse.

Another focus is on online communication and, in particular, the maintenance of this website (www.karlsruhe-erleben.de) in cooperation with KTG Karlsruhe Tourismus GmbH. Since 2018, all local information on shopping, tourism, events, gastronomy, nightlife, etc. has been bundled here, thus complementing the city's municipal online offering (www.karlsruhe.de).

As the City Marketing team, we also work closely with the Karlsruhe city administration in "inner city management," particularly with the Economic Development Department and the Office for Urban Development. Strategically, city marketing is part of the "Future Topic: Highlight City Center" of the city of Karlsruhe. Urban development projects ("City Action Plan"), reducing vacancy rates, and neighborhood development.

The aim of all these measures is to make a significant and sustainable contribution to the positive perception of Karlsruhe's city center in order to make the city more attractive and vibrant in the long term together with all partners and stakeholders.
