URA-HARA Ramen Café Opens a New Location in Karlsruhe

Since March 26, 2026, Karlsruhe has gained a new culinary attraction: the new URA-HARA Ramen Café on the first floor of the ETTLINGER TOR Center, and thus right next door to Crombo, a dining concept from Frankfurt is now bringing authentic Japanese ramen to the "Fan City."

URA-HARA Ramen Café Karlsruhe – fast, modern, and authentic

Following Frankfurt, Karlsruhe is now URA-HARA’s second location, and has been delighting Japanese food lovers since March 26, 2026.

The self-service concept, featuring high-quality Japanese cuisine, can be easily and seamlessly integrated into daily life, a shopping trip, or a lunch break: Instead of traditional table service, guests place their orders directly at the register, pick up their food themselves, and choose where to sit on the first floor of the ETTLINGER TOR.

The focus is on delicious ramen soups, prepared by a Japanese culinary team dedicated to traditional and authentic flavors. Residents of Karlsruhe can choose from seven delicious soups:

• A | Hakata Tonkotsu: Creamy pork bone broth with egg
• B | Power Tantan: Vegetarian Ramen
• C | Yuzu Shio: Lemon Chicken Broth
• D | Dirty Fire: Spicy Miso Broth
• E | Creamy Miso Butter: Miso Ramen with Butter
• F | Tokyo Classic: Soy Sauce Broth with Pork
• E | Streetstyle Mazemen: Ramen without broth, but with spicy tantan sauce

What makes URA-HARA special is that guests can customize their ramen to suit their own personal tastes. They can choose from three different broths, five types of noodles, and pork, chicken, or tofu—with such a wide variety, there’s something for everyone!
