Zimtliebe Opens Second Location on Kaiserstrasse in Karlsruhe

As Karlsruhe’s first cinnamon roll shop in 2023—then still operating under the name Cinnamoh—Zimtliebe had already drawn numerous customers to 40 Adlerstraße, where it made many food lovers’ hearts beat faster. About three years later, the owners are now delighted to open a second location, situated right on Karlsruhe’s main shopping street, Kaiserstraße, next to Breuninger and Läderach.

All About Cinnamon – Cinnamon Rolls with Various Toppings in Karlsruhe

In 2023, owner Moho opened the doors to his first Cinnamoh location—now known as Zimtliebe—near Karlsruhe’s Lidellplatz, specifically at 40 Adlerstraße, where it can still be found today. About three years later, the time had come again, and the owner was able to open his second shop, this time right in the heart of downtown, at 98 Kaiserstrasse. “Back then, over eight years ago, I was inspired by the American chain Cinnabon while in Lebanon,” Moho explains. “I immediately had the idea to do something like that for Karlsruhe too. A cinnamon roll paradise for the ‘Fan City,’ so to speak,” he adds. Based on his mother’s original recipe—she still prepares everything fresh in the bakery today—delicious cinnamon roll variations were eventually created, enhanced with tasty toppings:

We also offer vegan cinnamon rolls on their own, with Lotus cookies, or as banana bread. Whether you’re on Adlerstraße or Kaiserstraße, you’ll find handmade, fluffy, and deliciously flavored cinnamon rolls from our in-house bakery.

The selection of cinnamon rolls is complemented by a wide variety of beverages. These range from iced and hot matcha lattes with various fruit purees to hot drinks and refreshing homemade lemonades.

If you want to enjoy them, you have to be quick: Every day at 11:00 a.m., the sweet cinnamon rolls come out of the oven and are just waiting to be eaten. “It gets especially busy in the afternoon, and demand for the cinnamon rolls is high. We can barely keep up with baking them,” says Moho.
