The Ringcafé Böckeler - new in Karlstraße

Böckeler can now also be found in Karlstraße, in the former Café Brenner. The confectionery wraps the Ringcafé in a new look with charm and high quality.

The finest macarons and pastries, pralines, truffles and chocolates, fabulous cakes and tarts, as well as high-quality baked goods and ice cream - that's Böckeler, the family-run confectionery and coffee house business. With a history dating back to 1960, Böckeler has managed to combine traditional craftsmanship with contemporary influences to create a new level of indulgence for confectioners in the region.

Guests can already enjoy Böckeler specialties in Bühl and Baden-Baden and now also in Karlsruhe. The café on market square was also one of the many places in the fan-shaped city of Karlsruhe for the finest baked goods and confectionery. The Café am Marktplatz remained open next to the Ringcafé in Karlstraße until summer 2020. This gave customers the opportunity to enjoy sweet creations in both branches for over a year.

Reopening of the Ringcafé in Karlsruhe - a win-win situation

Sebastian Böckeler, a member of the management team, describes the takeover of the former Café Brenner in Karlstraße as a win-win situation: "We and our employees have a new home in Karlsruhe and the Brenner family have a successor from the same industry who is willing to continue the tradition of the establishment," he says, explaining the decision that the family made in the fall of 2020.

New design - modern fan city atmosphere

The premises have been continuously operated as a café since 1956 and are therefore classified as an "ensemble worthy of protection" by the state monument protection authority. Today, the Ringcafé is barely recognizable: The historic building has been modernized in an extensive renovation and many visual highlights have been added:
