The Cassata ice cream parlor in Karlsruhe's Oststadt district impresses with its creative and unique creations. In 2018, the ice cream parlor won the semi-finals of the Gelato Festival in Berlin and therefore reached the final of the 2021 Ice Cream World Championships in Florence. They achieved an outstanding 5th place.

In addition to the Cortina ice cream parlor, the Tiramisù ice cream parlor in Oststadt and Dammerstock are also part of the family business. Tiramisù was founded by their daughter in 2009. Eis Cortina impresses with a large and varied selection of ice cream flavors of the highest quality. Another advantage is the central location in Karlsruhe city center near the market square, so you can grab a quick ice cream to cool off during a shopping trip.

CLAUS - Ice cream factory & deli

This special ice cream experience can also be found right in the center of Karlsruhe, in Lammstraße. The ice cream maker makes its ice cream fresh in its own ice cream kitchen and places great value on natural and regional ingredients. The range also includes dairy-free ice cream based on soy, coconut, rice or oat milk. There are a variety of creative ice cream creations, such as salted caramel, strawberry-mint, super duper chocolate, lemon-basil and many other varieties.

On the Albufer

Gelateria und Flammerie Am Albufer is located in the Dammerstock district of Karlsruhe, directly on the banks of the Alb in Nürnbergstraße. It's a great place to take a short bike ride and stop off at the ice cream parlor for a little refreshment. In addition to ice cream, it also offers tarte flambée, pizza and other delicacies.

Excellent ice cream in the truest sense of the word can be found in Martin-Luther-Straße in Karlsruhe Grötzingen. The owners of Eis Marie were awarded the gold medal for their vanilla ice cream at the European Championship of Gelato in 2012. For over 80 years, you have been able to enjoy naturally delicious ice cream at the oldest ice cream maker in the region. Thanks to its central location in Grötzingen, a visit to Eis Marie is particularly suitable for a cycling trip to Pfinztal.

Yollie - the Popice Café

If you're looking for that special vacation feeling, you'll find it at Yollie - the Popice Café. Popice is an ice cream on a stick made almost exclusively from fruit! The ice cream is mostly vegan and has little to no sugar. The varieties are varied and unusual, such as strawberry-mint, carrot-apple, cucumber-lemon or mango-coconut. With the YOLLIE (pronounced "jolly") store in Südliche Waldstraße, there is a permanent location in the middle of Karlsruhe. The refreshing POPICE is also available in some stores in Karlsruhe and the surrounding area (e.g. in the Fettschmelze, in the restaurant "Anders auf dem Turmberg" ...).
