Bright fall in Karlsruhe
In the fall, the temperatures gradually drop and the greenery slowly disappears from the parks and gardens.
However, Karlsruhe's beautiful green spaces still offer plenty of opportunities to enjoy the last beautiful days of fall outdoors and watch nature change.
Günther-Klotz plant
One of the best places to enjoy the fall and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city is the Günther-Klotz-Anlage. Once there, you can leave the stress of everyday life behind and let the tranquillity of nature take effect on you. Not to mention the magnificent colors! The sun's rays peeking through the colorful canopy of leaves add an enchanted touch.
Dreamlike play of colors in the castle garden
But Karlsruhe also has other great green spaces to offer. One of these is the palace garden in the middle of Karlsruhe and directly adjacent to Karlsruhe city center. Not only can you relax and admire the greenery and nature here, but the Karlsruhe Palace also provides a wonderful backdrop for a golden autumn. Perfect for picnics or walks alone or with friends and enjoying the last rays of sunshine.
The Botanical Garden
It is only a short walk from the palace gardens to the botanical gardens. The mixture of different types of vegetation in the Botanical Gardens is particularly special, with palm trees and deciduous trees growing right next to each other, creating a wonderful atmosphere in the fall.
As you can see, Karlsruhe has plenty of nature to offer outside of the warmer seasons and invites you to relax and explore.
