Opening in summer 2025 at Südliche Waldstraße 44, Bagno e Vino, by Pfeiffer and Mey, is a place where enjoyment meets design and the aesthetics of beautiful bathrooms. Owner Ralf Tebrocke has managed to combine his passion for fine wines and special bathrooms in this showroom.

Stylish bathrooms meet genuine wine enjoyment in Karlsruhe

Visitors to Südliche Waldstraße 44 will discover a very special kind of bathroom showroom. Owner Ralf Tebrocke, who worked for many years at Pfeiffer und Mey (a bathroom wholesaler), has created a concept with Bagno e Vino that is unique in the fan-shaped city, covering an area of over 400 square meters. "My many years of expertise in bathrooms and fittings inspired me to open a showroom of a special kind," says Tebrocke. "Over a glass of wine, I had the idea of combining a wine bar with a bathroom showroom, and that's how 'Bagno e Vino' was born," he reveals.

Since summer 2025, Karlsruhe residents have been able to find exclusive bathrooms and inspiration as well as a stylish wine bar offering wines from Italy and South Africa, all under one roof. "It's the extraordinary that fascinates many about Bagno e Vino: you can sit outside and enjoy a glass of wine with a view of the beautiful southern Waldstraße, or experience stylishly staged bathroom worlds inside," says Tebrocke. And it is precisely these bathroom worlds that set Bagno e Vino apart. "We have designed complete rooms here that are adapted to the different wine regions," says the owner. The people of Karlsruhe can enjoy South African-style bathrooms or be transported to Italian holiday regions.

Whether showers, sinks, or bathtubs—everything can be tried out on site. The showroom offers products from the following bathroom brands:

Wine bar and showroom as an event location

This special location at Südliche Waldstraße 44 also opens its doors for wine tastings: "Our wine tastings offer great wines in a pleasant atmosphere. For €49, participants are treated to a welcome glass of sparkling wine, three white wines, three red wines, and finger food," says Tebrocke. Of course, Bagno e Vino also offers selected non-alcoholic options: "Our 0.0% Prosecco and Sauvignon are particularly popular and are in no way inferior to the alcoholic versions," says the owner.
