Taste'n'Talk at vomFASS on Karlsruhe's market square

Since January 15, 2026, Jule Kalmbach has been offering a new concept at vomFASS on Karlsruhe's market square that combines enjoyment and networking. Through various gourmet workshops and tastings, the owner aims to bring Karlsruhe residents together and create a place for exchange.

When it comes to tastings, flavor, and special gift ideas, vomFASS has been a popular destination in Karlsruhe and far beyond the city limits for many years. Owner Jule Kalmbach clearly focuses on special indulgence:

• Vinegars
• Spirits

When she moved to Kaiserstraße 76 on Karlsruhe's market square in the summer of 2024, Jule Kalmbach quickly realized that this location would be perfect for workshops and tastings. "I always had the vision of being able to hold our tastings and events right in the salesroom," explains Jule. So, during a short renovation phase, the store on the market square was enlarged to provide enough space to integrate the tasting area. On January 15, 2026, the time had come and the tasting spot in the heart of the store was ready to open.

"The new concept aims to offer small events during opening hours and turn the store into a meeting place in the city." Starting in March 2026, vomFASS will offer the following:

• Wednesdays 6:00–7:30 p.m.: After Work Wine
• Thursdays 7:00–9:30 p.m.: Wine & Truffles
• Fridays 5:00–6:30 p.m.: Aperitif & antipasti and
• Saturdays 11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.: Bubbles & Pretzels

"These events are intended to invite people into the city, create a place to linger and enjoy themselves, and add value to the market square as a meeting place," says Jule, explaining the new concept behind her store. The name of the concept says it all: the people of Karlsruhe should meet here and strike up conversations with each other so they can enjoy themselves and network together.

You can currently book tastings by email (info@vomfasskarlsruhe.de) or soon online at the website or, starting in March, via Eventim. "However, the events can also be booked directly in the store, or you can simply show up spontaneously—provided there are still spots available," says Jule.
