The large fountain in the middle of the square invites you to take a break on one of the shady seats.
Continue straight ahead on Erbprinzenstraße to Ludwigsplatz, one of the most popular squares in the western part of the city center. Numerous restaurants, bars and cafés invite you to linger here. This is one of the longest and best-known fan streets in the city. The shopping street offers a large selection of stores and restaurants.
The tour continues to the next stop via Sophienstraße, turning left at the intersection onto Reinhold-Frank-Straße. After about 100 meters, the route turns onto Gartenstraße and then follows Lorenzstraße to the left. This takes you past the ZKM | Center for Art and Media and the Karlsruhe Art Museum. After so much cultural enjoyment, you can take a break in the Günther-Klotz-Anlage park, which is located nearby. There you will find a wide range of play and relaxation areas, several small lakes, and much more—an ideal urban recreation area. For those who have more time, the park is a good addition to this tour.
The route continues along Südendstraße, which you follow to the end. There you cross Beiertheimer Allee, where there are beautiful green spaces to relax and a playground to run around in. Then cycle along Gutschstraße and turn left into Bahnhofsstraße. Back on Ettlinger Straße, there is plenty to discover, past the fairground with the Karlsruhe Congress Centerthe Konzerthaus, the Stadthalle, the Black Forest Hall and the Vierortbad. By the way, here you can not only swim and take a sauna in a dreamlike atmosphere, but also listen to the Sounds of Life until 2025. Once you reach the junction with Kriegsstraße, you will see the Baden State Theater can be discovered on the right.

Following the view, you drive through the magnificent gate into the palace park. Another highlight for families in the palace garden is the palace garden railway, which allows you to explore the garden at a leisurely pace.
Continuing through the castle gardens, you will reach Ahaweg behind the castle garden lake. Turn left onto this road and then take the first right, which will take you tothe MajolikaMuseum. It was here, in the former factory, that BAMBI, the famous television award, first saw the light of day. Back on Ahaweg, head back towards the palace. But it's worth getting off: a profusion of flowers in every season, the impressive orangery, and lots of exciting sights, such as the Federal Constitutional Court, which is decorated with numerous bonsai trees at the rear. Leave the Botanical Garden and get back on your bike.
The route continues across the castle forecourt towards the city center, where the Square of Fundamental Rights is located. Here you should pause for a moment. The statements on law and democracy and those who have come into conflict with the law face each other and encourage reflection and discussion. Once you have crossed the circle, you will find the Museum by the market and you are back at the starting point.
