Colorful photo spots on Karlsruhe's Kaiserstraße

On June 1, Karlsruhe celebrated Christopher Street Day under the motto "We are here - always queer". Christopher Street Day 2024. It was the 40th anniversary of the first CSD in Karlsruhe in June 1984.
For this special occasion, the Citymarketing Karlsruhe , in cooperation with the municipal civil engineering office and the redesign of Kaiserstrasse , installed colorful photo spots around the construction sites in the first construction phase. On May 31 and June 1, giant colorful rainbows and hearts provided spectacular photo opportunities at three locations on Kaiserstrasse:
- Photo spot 1 | Kaiserstrasse between Ritterstrasse and Lammstrasse - level with Deutsche Bank
- Photo spot 2 | Kaiserstrasse between Lammstrasse and Marktplatz - at house number 145
- Photo spot 3 | Kaiserstrasse at the corner of Karl-Friedrich-Strasse
These photo spots offered visitors to the city center the perfect opportunity to take colorful souvenir photos of their visit to the city center.
The colorful photo spots were a measure taken by city marketing as part of the construction site marketing campaign for the redesign of Kaiserstrasse.
