Karlsruhe is delighted with the new opening of Madame Croissant
Croissants in all varieties now make gourmets' hearts beat faster in Karlsruhe
After Cologne and Hamburg, Karlsruhe has also been a hotspot for numerous croissant variations from Madame Croissant since July 6, 2024. In the newly opened store at Kaiserstraße 187 in Karlsruhe, Managing Director Kevin Sollorz and Branch Manager Bianca Kohl take you into the delicious world of sweet filled and savory topped croissants.
Nine different croissant varieties are available at Madame Croissant in Karlsruhe
Managing Director Kevin Sollorz had long been a fan of lavishly topped croissants. "We love going to Café Klauprecht in Südweststadt and have always eaten their croissants there," he reports. "My friend then found out about Madame Croissant in Cologne and showed me that you could become a franchise partner of the concept," he adds. The 25-year-old had been dreaming of owning his own café for a while. "The concept completely won me over and when we found the location in Kaiserstraße, the dream became a reality," says Kevin.
Madame Croissant offers five sweet varieties filled with
- Pistachio cream
- Vanilla and strawberry cream
- Lotus cookie cream
- Chocolate cream (vegan)
which are sure to delight those with a sweet tooth from all over the region. Those who prefer something savory and hearty can choose between croissants with tomato and mozzarella, scrambled eggs, brie with cranberries or the exquisite version with Serrano ham and rocket.
Our most popular croissant is undoubtedly the one with pistachio.
"We can hardly keep up with supplies on some days, that's how popular this variant is. Of course, there will always be seasonal specials that are adapted to the time of year," says Kevin. A croissant filled with ice cream is also planned for the future!
A piece of France at Croissant Madame in Karlsruhe - to enjoy on site, to take away & for your own celebration
The interior of Madame Croissant's store at Kaiserstrasse 187 is simple but elegant - the centerpiece is definitely the glass counter, where the croissants are skillfully presented. Baked and freshly prepared in the in-house bakery, the smell of baked croissants wafts into your nose as soon as you enter. "We also offer delicious coffee specialties, which we make with our own Madame croissant coffee," explains Kevin. The bistro tables outside on Kaiserstraße invite you to enjoy the croissants directly on site in the Karlsruhe sunshine. "Of course, we also have boxes for safe transportation home or small bowls if the croissant is to be eaten directly to go," says Kevin.
Tip: Kevin also reveals that you can bring Madame Croissant moments to your own party! Be it for a wedding, an anniversary, a company party or a birthday - Madame Croissant also offers catering.
