Drinking tea is cool, drinking tea is good for you – the stylish atmosphere at Hellers Tea Bar invites you to linger and brings fans of this fine infusion together.

You can enjoy the sun outside on Lammstraße in Karlsruhe, while the interior is modernly furnished, with huge light bulbs decorating the ceiling and the cheerful owner Florian Heller behind the bar.

After pop-up stores in Baden-Baden and Stuttgart, he was looking for a permanent location for his tea bar. He finally found what he was looking for in the fan-shaped city, and at the end of April 2018, the time had come: the owner was able to open Hellers Tea Bar at Lammstraße 7, directly in the Technical Town Hall building.

Cozy atmosphere and unusual teas at Helles Tea Bar in Karlsruhe

"It's important to me that people can drink tea in a cool atmosphere and also buy it right there," explains Florian Heller. All varieties, which can be enjoyed on site or taken away, are also available for purchase. Florian Heller's homemade iced tea with mint, lemon, or peach is particularly popular in summer and offers the perfect refreshment during a shopping trip.

Those who prefer something more unusual should definitely try creations such as Gin Tonic Green Tea infused or Vodka Soda Black Tea infused. "We pay close attention to regionality and the environment in our entire concept," explains Heller. For example, all to-go cups, lids, and straws are made from corn starch, and the paper cups are coated with corn starch. The shop also sells trendy porcelain mugs with the Heller's Tea logo, which you can bring with you every time you visit and thus do something good for the environment.

Coffee specialties and wines at Hellers Tea Bar

Of course, coffee lovers will also find something to their taste at Hellers Tea Bar. From espresso to cappuccino, Americano, or café latte—the drinks menu features all the classics, which can be refined with any type of milk, such as whole milk, oat milk, coconut milk, or almond milk. For balmy summer nights, the menu includes wines from Klumpp in Bruchsal, among others.

In addition to the range of beverages, there are also delicious sponge cakes, fine raisin rolls, cookies, and croissants. Florian Heller is looking forward to his first summer and his new outdoor seating, so that all his guests can enjoy tea or coffee specialties in the heart of the fan-shaped city.
