Historical treasures since 1998 at Lidellplatz in Karlsruhe

Founded in 1998 by the Tempel cultural association, the Krempel-Tempelchen found its home at Markgrafenstraße 40, on Lidellplatz in Karlsruhe, where it remains to this day.

"At the time, I saw a need for advice on private bulky waste," explains Beate Koch. That's how the idea for the Krempel-Tempelchen came about. She had a great love of nostalgia even in her youth, as she was already collecting all kinds of rare items back then. "That has remained the case to this day; I just have a real soft spot for classics—even the house I live in dates back to 1783," says the owner.

It is important to the owner to be able to tell a story about her products. Ten years ago, she studied consumer history so that she could provide her customers with historical background information about products and companies in and around Karlsruhe.
