Elwert has been a household name in the art industry in the region around Karlsruhe, Pforzheim and Baden-Baden for over 70 years
Joachim Elwert has managed to establish himself with his gallery in the Waldstraße 95, in the middle of Karlsruhe city centerhas managed to make a name for himself beyond the city limits. His father opened the first frame store in Baden-Baden in 1949. He took over the business himself in 1981 and also opened his gallery in 1986. Karlsruhe has always been close to his heart, especially the southern Waldstraße, where he moved his gallery in 2009. In November 2022, he moved one door further into the new premises, which now offer him four times as much space and six more shop windows. The gallery owner is delighted and is looking forward to being able to present the artworks even better.

With a huge selection of picture frames and passe-partouts in all colors and materials, Galerie Elwert is a highly sought-after address in Karlsruhe when it comes to individual framing. Exclusively in the region, framing strips can be sprayed in over 30 colors in the company's own workshop.
