"Biodiversity - diversity of the landscape and diversity of species"
with the Black Forest Association Karlsruhe
Circular route approx. 11 km, duration approx. 3.5 hours
Since the development of the AugenBlickRunde Karlsruhe Rittnert, the KTG has cooperated closely with the local Black Forest Association in Karlsruhe.
As a special hiking highlight, the Black Forest Association invites you to join them on May 17 under the motto "Biodiversity - diversity of the landscape and diversity of species". The title refers to the biodiversity trail in Grötzingen, which has information boards about the special features of the flora and fauna. At the beginning and end of the tour, on the way to Knittelberg and Turmberg, many places bear witness to the diversity of the natural and cultural landscape. At the end of the tour, participants have the opportunity to climb the newly restored tower before the official opening; a final stop at the Schützenhaus restaurant on the Turmberg is optional.
The meeting point for the 11-kilometer tour is at 14:00 on 17 May at the Durlach-Turmberg bus stop. The Black Forest Association asks you to register by May 16 at the latest by e-mail: info@schwarzwaldverein-karlsruhe.de.
