Kaiserstraße clears the way
for the edible city of Karlsruhe

Karlsruhe became an "edible city"!
The social enterprise Urban Gardens Karlsruhe welcomed all visitors to the train-free Kaiserstrasse at five pop-up stations in June and July 2022. Participatory and creative after-work workshops took place there over five days. The stations invited visitors to explore what a greener future could look like in Karlsruhe, be it through large collective initiatives, small changes to practices or urban gardening.
The activities were free of charge and accessible at any time between 16:00 and 19:00 without prior registration.
