CRASH

CRASH" is a site-specific project by the choreographer duo Sarah Kiesecker and Dominik Hoess, which was created together with 8 dancers from the company KIESECKER | HOESS.

Road traffic is always completely contactless. A certain degree of proximity is always tolerated, but really close moments create tension. If someone drives too close to a parked car when pulling out of a parking space, everyone in the car holds their breath. The crash is the final mistake in every traffic incident. Contact as a super-GAU. CRASH takes a dance approach to the subject of road traffic. Kaiserstrasse, where the relocation of the streetcar suddenly created space for a new form of traffic, provided the ideal setting.

The dance company KIESECKER | HOESS was founded in Karlsruhe in 2021 and presents large full-length productions as well as site-specific projects.
