The WOODSTICKEL music festival presents itself for the first time on Saturday, January 24, 2026 in a special edition under the motto "Classical music meets rock". In the Hermann-Ringwald-Halle, musicians from bands familiar from the festival will meet orchestral sounds - a musical experiment that will allow well-known songs to be heard in a completely new sound.
Organized by Musikverein Einheit Wolfartsweier e.V., the family-friendly festival has become an integral part of the regional cultural scene since 2014. For the premiere of the winter format, Justin Nova, Cat Hill BluesBand, Eros Amaretti, Pik As and Seán Treacy will perform together with the large MVE orchestra.
Philipp Zink will be the musical director and Karsten Penz will be the presenter.
The concert starts at 7 pm (admission from 6 pm).
