Our universe is still full of mysteries: scientists all over the world are searching for antimatter or the mysterious dark matter that makes up a large part of the mass in the universe.
Prof. Dr. Anke-Susanne Müller, Prof. Dr. Torben Ferber, Dr. Belina von Krosigk and Prof. Dr. Felix Kahlhoefer from the KIT Center for Elementary Particle and Astroparticle Physics at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) explain what happens when matter collides with antimatter, take us on a journey through the Milky Way to dark matter or show how unknown new particles would reveal themselves in the particle accelerator.
Visitors can also experience a particle collision with virtual reality headsets. Following the lectures, Prof. Dr. Anke-Susanne Müller from KIT will guide visitors through the "Code of the Universe" exhibition on Kronenplatz.
