July 16 to August 13 | On the Kronenplatz
The traveling exhibition "Code of the Universe" from CERN with impressive photos of current research results from the world of modern physics of the universe can be seen for four weeks on Kronenplatz.
The images make it clear that knowledge about the universe and its inner workings has repeatedly led to scientific breakthroughs and technological leaps. Nevertheless, there are still many unanswered questions about the universe. The 20 plastic steles in the public space set out in search of answers and tell the stories of the latest basic research into our universe.
The exhibition will be accompanied by various activities by the KIT Center for Elementary Particle and Astroparticle Physics of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) (see also EFFEKTE evening on July 26). Further information: www.code-des-universums.de
