Forest in danger? - The Elfmorgenbruch between urban history and railroad planning
The Elfmorgenbruch urban forest between Durlach-Center and Karlsruhe-Hagsfeld is a wetland forest in the Kinzig-Murg channel with a historic duck trap and many other ecological highlights. However, this forest close to the city is in danger due to possible routes for the expansion and new construction of the Mannheim - Karlsruhe railroad line. We visit this forest and show the possible effects of a railroad line.
