Lecture followed by a guided tour on the work of Friedrich Weinbrenner in general and his legacy in Gaggenau in particular—especially Rotenfels Castle and the Anton Rindeschwender Memorial.
An illustrated lecture will first present Friedrich Weinbrenner's work in general before focusing on his legacy in Gaggenau.Â
These are, first and foremost, Rotenfels Castle and, secondly, the Anton Rindeschwender monument on Gaggenau's town hall square. Following the presentation, we will follow in Weinbrenner's footsteps by viewing Rotenfels Castle from the outside and exploring the surrounding area, including the Roman house.
