Drinking water: human right or commodity?
On the occasion of World Water Day, everything at the Schauburg on 22 March revolves around the topic of water as a common good and the risks of privatization.
To mark World Water Day on 22 March 2025, the non-profit association a tip:tap (German: ein Tipp: Leitungswasser) is organizing a cinema day in cooperation with the Schauburg Filmtheater, the Karlsruhe municipal utilities and the forum für internationale entwicklung + planung (finep) e.V. under the title: "Drinking water: human right or commodity?"
In workshops, the "Wasserwandel" exhibition, the film "Botteled Life" and a panel discussion, you will gain valuable insights into the number one foodstuff!
It starts at 2 p.m. with a workshop that playfully shows how you can save the world with tap water.
At 4 p.m. there is a healthy break at the tap water bar.

Mayor Bettina Lisbach will open the interactive exhibition
