Â
Dream_Klaus_42 is sitting on a research station in the Arctic, the next woman who wants to meet him is 578 km away. They arrange to meet loosely, he doesn't know when he will leave, until then emojis are chirping through the stratosphere.
Â
Camilla is sitting in a café, Tinder shows her 827 matches within a radius of twelve meters, she looks around and can't imagine having a coffee with any of these men. So she orders a single malt on ice.
Â
Sabine is sitting in the same café. She meets the love of her life on Tinder, just one meter fifty away, Rainer, whom she married twenty years ago.
Â
And high above all the Tinder users "swiping away", "wiping out or into their lives", surfing for matches, Tasja and Eric fly off on their first vacation together, very real, with real sun, real sand and real love... and all because Eric mistyped.
Â
People are constantly on the lookout: for their car keys, their dream job, a new apartment. But above all for love. There have never been as many singles as there are today, with one in five Germans living alone. According to a study by the Hamburg-based analysis institute Nielsen, half of singles now use flirt portals such as Tinder - eight times as many as ten years ago. In this musical comedy written especially for the stage of the Kammertheater by Ingmar Otto, the director of the Kammertheater, the six characters sing about what happens to love when it transitions from the virtual to the real world.
