The Forum Recht Foundation opens its doors in Karlsruhe with a varied program
The Forum Recht Foundation will be opening its doors in Karlsruhe on Saturday, 28 June 2025, from 11:00 a.m. with a varied program: all interested parties are cordially invited to find out more about the foundation's services, discuss its topics and get to know the team.
The highlights of the day include tours of the Foundation's premises, where visitors can talk to team members, a short version of the popular city tour, which will lead along Herrenstraße to the Federal Court of Justice, and a taster version of the new Forum Law in Dialogue format, in which Foundation Director Cord Brügmann will present thematic impulses together with exciting guests. Visitors can also look forward to creative activities for children, an exciting legal case that needs to be solved, podcasts to listen to, the construction plans of the Forum Recht Foundation and the opportunity to get to know the Friends of Forum Recht.
The foundation's new pop-up exhibition will be on display in an exclusive preview in front of the premises in Karlstraße before it moves to Karlsruhe Central Station on July 1, where the exhibition will be on display until the end of the month. Under the title "Law. The rules of everyday life", the exhibition highlights key questions such as: Where do we encounter law in everyday life? How does it shape our lives - and who has what experiences with it? Guided tours of the exhibition invite visitors to get to know the exhibition and share their personal experiences. The foundation will also be presenting the exhibition's digital education program, which is freely available online.
The program concludes with a quiz evening from 18:30 to 20:00, with questions about law and the rule of law, law in pop culture, Karlsruhe city history and more.
