The open day is a science festival for the public and marks the start of the Karlsruhe Science Festival "EFFEKTE".
Under the slogan "Effektvoll am KIT", KIT presents experiments and laboratories every two years and offers activities for young and old, lectures and hands-on activities as well as an entertaining stage program.
At the Campus Day, the KIT faculties present their degree programs and offer great hands-on activities, experiments, guided tours and much more. Of course, topics such as studying abroad, career opportunities, application and admission or support when starting your studies are not neglected. On campus tours with student advisors and students, you can get to know the most important facilities at KIT and ask questions about studying. The university groups present themselves at the forum and show the diversity of campus life.
