Information about the HFG Open-Air Cinema:
Since 2019, the team from Kino im Blauen Salon has been organizing an an open-air cinema at the Hochschule für Gestaltung. On the lawn in front of the HfG, there is a week of great films with a supporting program, drinks, snacks, movie puzzles, a competition and much more.
The festival is organized entirely on a voluntary basis by students and alumni of the HfG: From the film programming, the procurement of film licenses and ordering film prints, setting up the technology, screen and projection screen and projection, the scenography of the event, the graphic graphic design, the organization of the bar, which provides for the physical the planning of the supporting program with silent film soundtrack, DJs ... The team from Kino im Blauen Salon goes all out.
The special thing about our festival is that all films are still projected on 35 mm film. film.
