Pop-up Exhibition “Law – The Rules of Everyday Life”
Where do we encounter the law in our daily lives—and how does it influence our lives? Whether we’re renting an apartment, at work, on the road, or within the family: the law is everywhere. It guides and structures our daily lives together.
The Forum Recht Foundation explores these everyday situations in its pop-up exhibition “Law – The Rules of Everyday Life.” Complex legal topics are presented here in an accessible and interactive way.
Visitors are expressly invited to participate: Using QR codes and a web app, they can record videos with their own smartphones and share their personal experiences on the Forum Recht Foundation’s new participation platform. In this way, the exhibition continues to grow over time—and offers diverse perspectives on the role of law in our daily lives. There is also the opportunity to playfully immerse yourself in the world of law through quizzes and spinning cubes.
The traveling exhibition has been touring Germany since July 2025 and can be seen at train stations, shopping malls, and town squares—anywhere where the law and everyday life intersect.
“Law – The Rules of Everyday Life” will be on display around the clock from May 6 to 25 at Schlossplatz in Karlsruhe. Admission to the exhibition is free.
