A musical journey through time from the beginning of the universe to the future. With sounds by Beethoven, Vivaldi, Tchaikovsky, Strauss, and others, we experience cosmic events visualized in the planetarium dome.
After a general introduction to the current starry sky and the significance of resonances in the physical cosmos, we embark on a musically atmospheric journey through the stages of the universe's development.
From the Big Bang to the future:
We are witnesses to the birth and death of galaxies and stars – from their glorious creation to their dramatic transformation into supernovae and black holes. We search for life on alien planets – but also in our own solar system. We observe the formation of our home planet and the miracle of life.
Finally, we also take a look at cosmic dangers such as asteroid impacts, black holes, comets, and colliding galaxies, but end on a hopeful note, dreaming of new discoveries and adventures in the infinite universe.
Music and education:
Stars of Classic combines elements of a music show and an educational program to create an experience for all the senses. As you float through the vastness of space to timeless masterpieces of classical music, you will also learn interesting facts about our universe.
With pieces by: Beethoven, Strauss, Mussorgsky, Tchaikovsky, Smetana, Vivaldi, Grieg, and many more.
Recommended for ages 10 and up. Not suitable for children.
