Whether a feel-good place or an uncomfortable one, many things shape an interior: light, color, warmth, furniture, decoration and, above all, the people in it and what takes place there.
The new exhibition at the Junge Kunsthalle takes visitors on a room tour through old and new, real and imagined, confusing and inviting spaces. The works on display from the collection and contemporary works are intended to encourage visitors to explore their own space: What happens when we not only accept the walls around us as a given, but consciously perceive, conquer and shape them?Â
