Due to Corona, born out of necessity, the marotte summer theater has now established itself in the Waldzentrum and many families are already looking forward to being able to experience the popular marotte plays open air again.
During the summer vacations - always on Sundays - the puppet theater will once again offer performances for all age groups at the Waldzentrum in Linkenheimer Allee 10. There is a great area there with a small stage - the forest arena - and an amphitheater-like semicircle for the audience to sit under shady trees. There is a wonderful atmosphere and it is an extraordinary experience for everyone - children and adults - to meet all the well-known heroes from the picture books and stories, such as Pooh the Bear, Michel from Lönneberga, Furzipups or the little Pit Penguin on an outdoor stage.
The forest center is easy to reach by bus 73 from Europaplatz or by bike/walk. You can also get there by car, but there are only a few parking spaces. In the meantime, marotte has also found a rainy alternative on site so that none of the performances have to be canceled.
