Lucky Ludd Trio - Modern Jazz

The Lucky Ludd Trio returns to Mikado. With a fresh mix of virtuoso jazz, earthy blues elements, and a healthy dose of enthusiasm, the ensemble presents its current program, which playfully explores the boundaries between tradition and modernity. 

With Ludger Donath on piano, Gabriel Thäter on drums, and Felix Reichert on double bass, they create a unique sound that combines traditional jazz elements with modern innovation. The driving force behind their music is dialogue: sometimes percussive and driving, sometimes melancholic and intimate, the three musicians create soundscapes that go far beyond the classic trio format.
