Conflict zone tenancy law: living, renting, disputes
Tenants despair about rising rents, landlords complain about excessive regulation - and the law is supposed to mediate between the two sides. But does tenancy law deliver what it promises? And who is responsible for a fair housing market? How can the interests of tenants and landlords be better reconciled?
In the debate, lawyer Ruth Zöller, Managing Director of Mieterverein Karlsruhe e.V., will represent the tenants' perspective, and lawyer Götz Pasker, President of Karlsruher Anwaltsverein e.V., will represent the landlords' perspective.
In an interview with Marie-Elisabeth Miersch from the Stiftung Forum Recht, they shed light on legal issues surrounding the increasing housing shortage as well as the rights and obligations of both parties. Join the discussion and contribute your opinion!
