How do lemon, orange, and other container plants survive the winter? During this tour of the Botanical Garden, Garden Director Thomas Huber will share insights into overwintering and answer questions about plants or photos that visitors bring along.Â
The beauty and fragrance of Mediterranean lemon and orange trees fill the entire Botanical Garden in the summer. But what happens to the plants during the cold season? On this tour, guests will gain insight into the special care required for overwintering plants. In addition, the garden’s director, Thomas Huber, will offer valuable tips on overwintering delicate potted plants. Participants are welcome to bring plants, plant parts, or even photos of plants—the expert will then be on hand to offer advice.
