THOMAS KLEIN, ALEXANDER PAULICK, ANDREAS REIHSE and DETLEF WEINRICH met for recordings in Düsseldorf in the winter of 2018 and then completed them in sessions in Berlin, including at Guy Sternberg's LowSwing Studio, where KREIDLER had previously worked. From over a dozen approaches, the band crystallized eight pieces, including - to speak in LP - FLOOD I - IV and FLOOD V, an ensemble of five songs that takes up the entire second side of the album."
