Karlsruhe by the water – A stroll along the Rhine.
In Knielingen and Daxlanden, Karlsruhe can be experienced in a particularly impressive way as a city of water. Between Maxau and Rappenwört, one of Europe's largest inland ports meets the "Baden Jungle" – a protected floodplain landscape and hotspot of biodiversity. At the same time, the area is a popular leisure destination, especially with the "Rhine Landscape Park." Along the great river, we also walk to cultural and educational sites such as the Tulla Monument, the Drinking Water Trail, and the Nature Conservation Center in the Bauhaus building, discovering the river landscape in all its diversity.
Please note: The tour is divided into two parts, which take place on different dates.Â
