Symphony No. 15 in A major op. 141a marks the end of Dmitri Shostakovich's symphonic oeuvre, and its orchestration shines with a large number of percussion instruments. Victor Derevianko redistributed the parts and thus created a version for violin, cello, piano (celesta) and 13 percussion instruments. Shostakovich's well-known Suite No. 2, the Variety Suite, was arranged for piano trio and percussion by the Spanish composer Oriol Cruixent.
