Anniversary Washerwomen's Run and 5th Women's Run Karlsruhe | 100 years BV Bulach

The citizens' association of the Karlsruhe district of Bulach is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. The Bulach Citizens' Association was founded in 1925 and re-founded in 1954. The Bulach Citizens' Association, which currently has over 500 members, pursues charitable purposes such as the promotion of local history and the preservation of historical monuments. It focuses on youth work, cultural projects, traffic and building issues as well as representing the interests of the town. In addition, the association regularly organizes popular festivals and events to promote community life.

To mark the anniversary, numerous events and activities are taking place in the Bulach district of Karlsruhe this year. One of these is the Bulach gin, which is already available and is produced by the Scriptor distillery especially for the citizens' association. The highlight is the two-day festival weekend (May 24/25) with the Summer Day Parade, which is taking place again for the first time since the pandemic, and the anniversary edition of the Wäscherinnen-Lauf as the main attraction. The festival will be opened with a keg tapping by Lord Mayor Dr. Frank Mentrup.

In addition to the historic Wäscherinnen-Lauf, which celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2025, the classic Karlsruhe Women's Run and the Hänsel+Gretel children's charity run will also take place again.

In addition, the local clubs TSV and Bürgerverein Bulach will set up a large marquee and, with the support of other Bulach clubs and institutions, offer numerous attractions for the whole family over two days: Among other things, a bouncy castle, the little train of the steam locomotive friends, face painting for children and catering by the Bulach Citizens' Association on the sports grounds of TSV Bulach in St.-Florian-Straße 14.Further information on the extensive supporting program and the winning prizes for the women's races will follow in the coming weeks.
