On May 24, the celebrated Swedish rock duo Johnossi released their new single "San Antonio". The first music from an upcoming album, which is due to be released in September. In winter, the band will be back in Germany for their first proper tour in many years. The single, with its built-up verses leading into a rather epic chorus, is described by the band as: "Every street corner in every city has its own story." A close friend of ours witnessed something very dramatic in a major American city. That story, mixed with our own experiences and some imagination, brought the drama to life in this song. The single was co-written with her longtime keyboardist Mattias Franzén. Produced by respected Swedish producer Måns Lundberg (Håkan Hellström, Deportees etc.). Johnossi are currently in the studio finalizing the album and have also announced a seven-date tour of Germany for early 2025. It will be their first proper tour of Germany in many years. In June 2022, there were only a handful of delayed post-Covid dates, including the Tempelhof Sounds Festival in Berlin. So it's time for the duo to bring back their explosive live shows.
