"Happy": Comedy by Doris Dörrie
Three couples who have known each other for many years have developed very differently. While Dylan made a lot of money on the stock market, Boris and Annette got stuck halfway through their careers. Emilia and Felix have now admitted the failure of their relationship and are trying to come to terms with the break-up. But all the couples have lost one thing over the years: None of them are truly happy and completely satisfied anymore.
During a dinner together, the situation escalates when suddenly everyone gets involved in a bet as to whether or not they can feel and recognize their partner blindfolded.
Dörrie raises exciting and existential questions with Happy. What defines us as human beings? What are we actually? What is the essential core of a partnership? And how do we deal with our own inadequacy and with each other?
