Graffiti hand lettering
Most of us probably associate "graffiti" with street art, which is mainly found in public places such as train stations. Modern graffiti originated in New York - it emerged parallel to the beginnings of hip hop. Are you also interested in this modern art form and want to know how it works? Then our workshop is definitely the right place for you! Â
You don't need a wall or a spray can to become a graffiti artist. With us, you can learn the whole thing with a pen. Put your self-designed graffiti on paper!
What can you expect from the workshop?Â
You have no experience with graffiti and are wondering how to turn your "normal" handwriting into artistic graffiti? Find out for yourself in our workshop that it's not that difficult. With free drawing, doodling and line exercises, you will develop a feel for graffiti art step by step. We also answer these basic questions in a practical way:
- What is there to know about shape and color?Â
- How do I set light and shade?
- What should I bear in mind when dividing up the space and coloring?
Instructor Rene uses mixed media in the course: You can switch flexibly between Copic, Stabilo, Edding and brush pen.
Aim of the workshop:Â
By the end, you will have learned all the graffiti basics. From the design to the finished graffiti on paper - that's the goal. You will also lay the foundations for developing your own graffiti style.
Prerequisites:Â
Anyone who is curious about something new can take part. You don't need any previous knowledge and will experience how quickly modern art can be created with enthusiasm and a few good professional tricks.
