Community mountain village festival: 300 years of the Waldensian church in Palmbach

  Anniversary celebration around the Waldensian church in Palmbach 
All interested parties are cordially invited to experience a day full of history, encounters and music. 

The festival begins at 11 a.m. with a festive service in the Waldensian Church. The liturgy will be led by Pastor Maria Götz and the sermon will be preached by Pastor Susanne Labsch. The Langensteinbach/Palmbach trombone choir will accompany the service with music. 

Our further program: 

• 12:00 Opening of the historical photo exhibition "Palmbach and its Waldensian churches"
• 12:00 to 16:30 Community festival with lunch, coffee & cake, cocktail bar, sales stands, children's program, presentation of the Young Church Mountain Villages Foundation and the "Drückerle" sewing meeting place, information stands with presentation of the new Palmbach and Grünwettersbach local family books and the Palmbach Waldensian Association.
• 13:00 - Choir "miTTendrin", performance by Harmonie Palmbach 
• 14:00 Book presentation and signing: "The Curse of the Waldensians", a new crime novel by Rahsan Dogan
• 15:00 Waldensian Trail guided tour "300 years Waldensian Church & 10 years Waldensian Trail" (meeting point: Waldenserplatz)
• 18:00 Jazz service with the "Hillside Singers" and finale in the churchyard

There will be plenty of refreshments and an entertaining program for young and old. Our new photo exhibition can also be viewed daily on this day and in the two following weeks.
