Spring Academy: "More mobility, less traffic?"

The public panel discussion on the topic of "More mobility, less traffic?" marks the end of the Spring Sustainability Academy project week - "What is sustainable mobility". The increasing global demand for passenger and freight transportation in the coming decades requires a holistic, interdisciplinary approach to sustainable mobility that goes beyond pure electromobility. The long-term goal is socially accepted, sustainable, barrier-free and fair mobility. Representatives from research, environmental protection, politics and industry will discuss which measures and innovations are necessary to shape the mobility of the future while meeting social, economic and ecological requirements.

The Spring Academy 2024 is a four-day project week dedicated to the question "What is sustainable mobility?". With a public keynote speech, a sustainability forum, a large number of parallel workshops and excursions as well as a concluding panel discussion, we are exploring these and other questions in cooperation with the KIT Center for Mobility Systems at the Spring Academy Sustainability 2024.
